Quick start guide for individuals

Lifetick is designed to have you up and running with your goals in no time. This guide provides a quick overview of the steps you should take to be on your way to success. It provides links to more guides for detailed information on those steps.

If the process of goal setting is completely new to you, then we highly recommend reading our article on How goal setting works. This will give you the right understanding and approach so you can begin with confidence and purpose.

When you are ready, begin by creating an account for an individual. Once you have received your welcome email and clicked on the activation link you can log in and begin.

  1. The first step is to Create a goal.
  2. Lifetick provides a set of default core values. However you are free to Credit and edit core values whenever you choose.
  3. With your goal set up and linked to a core value you are now ready to Create tasks. You can add as many tasks as you need and set reminders to help you stay on track.
  4. You can Write a journal entry or Create a tracker which allows you to record and report on different types of areas like weight, fitness, books you’ve read, gym visits or what ever you configure.
  5. If you are interested in collaborating on goals you may wish to Create a shared goal so you and a friend or partner can work together toward on a goal.
  6. If you think you need some motivation and support from a friend or family member, you can Add a supporter to your goal. Supporters can see your goals and comment on them to help you stay focused and committed toward your target.
  7. Thinking of something big, but not ready to start working towards it? Simply Create a dream in Lifetick so you have it captured and then Convert the dream to a goal at some point in the future when you are ready to work towards it.
